Animal Decontamination – Hands on Exercise – 9:30am to 4pm Tim Murphy and Jim Houck. Sponsored by Colorado Urban Search and Rescue and the Wyoming Department of Health

This course will introduce you to animal decontamination. We will discuss the requirements of setting up a decontamination area and the personal protection equipment required. We will discuss preplanning and how you can integrate your services with the emergency responders. During our hands on portion we will set up a decontamination area and put on different types of PPE.
